Thirst Quenchers
Summer’s scorching heat is upon us and ice teas are one of the best ways to stay cool. Tea hydrates, provides antioxidants, and in some cases contains essential vitamins. Not to mention it just tastes great! Who needs plain old water when you can get so many benefits from high quality tea?
With unlimited flavor combinations, even if you are not a tea drinker, there is a tea for everyone. This isn’t your grandma’s old sweet tea. Tea from the Copper Kettle will give you back porch nostalgia while expanding your tea horizons.
The selections include happy summer favorites such as Butterfly Lemonade (a pineapple lemon color changing tea) and Peaches and Cream that contributes an antioxidant boost. Peaches and Cream is especially smooth with a shot of our handcrafted sweet cream. Need to plug into some energy? Try a Strawberry Matcha or an iced sweet Café Late with lemon (a staff favorite). During the summer months we cannot say enough about our super fruit teas like Queen of Berries, Strawberry Moringa, Grandmas Garden, and Beets and Berries. All delicious combinations of fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
Changing your tea up is always an option; many are delicious spritzed. We also offer dessert combinations like Hibiscus Floats that come with a generous scoop of sherbet.
Trust us, whatever your taste buds are longing for this summer we have something. With over 130 teas from around the world you are guaranteed to find a tea just for you.
We know that some of you are getting tired of chasing us around town… and we get that. With two locations, it’s been a bit confusing to remember our schedule. We always post where we will be on our Facebook wall, but if social media isn’t your forte, we suggest calling us before making the trip.
The road to tea in Foley
We are getting ready for our summer break when we rest, refresh, and refuel.
We hope you are all doing some of the same this summer. We will be closing after June 25th and reopening on July 12th. Robin will be making a trip to Scotland and plans to visit the tea farm where the Highlander and Islay whiskey teas are blended. She will be posting pictures and videos from her trip, so keep an eye out for some beautiful Scottish landscapes.
So as most of you know there are always a few changes when we reopen after our refresh breaks. We always take the time to reinvent the tearoom a little so that your experience with us continues to get better and better. This time, locations and hours are going to be our focus. We are trying to make it easier for us and for all of you to find us on any given day. While the location switches from day to day, one thing remains constant:
We love tea.
We love providing you with the best tea experience we can and that will be the major factor in our decision making. Both our locations are special to us for different reasons, and we hope to reflect that same preciousness to you, our beloved costumers.
Whether it’s a full high tea service, an afternoon lunch with friends, or a quiet time sipping tea by yourself, its our passion to make those moments special and memorable. We want to keep doing that better and we are still in the round table discussion about how to make it happen in the best way! You will be the first to know when we have some definitive information.
In the meantime-
