Tea Flights

Travel the World of Tea!

The concept of a beverage “flight” first gained popularity with beer and wines, where customers can enjoy several smaller servings of different varieties, all served at the same time to compare. For example, a beer flight may aesthetically position a dark stout beer at one end, and a light ale at the other. Wines may transition on the tray from reds to whites, or dry to sweet. Recently, we have a newer trend in the flight world, teas!

A little something you may or may not know about The Copper Kettle is that we offer a wide array of “tea flights” that are both visually appealing and an exciting opportunity to encounter the different tastes each tea has to share.

The experience consists of three different teas, all related by a common theme. You may discuss the details of each flavor, or simply sit enjoying the company of three complimenting cups of liquid happiness. Let’s explore the current flight list to see where you might journey next:

Green Teas

Black Teas

White Teas

Asian Tour

Spa Trip

Matcha Destination*

Fruit Bat Flight

South American Tour

South African Safari

Mystery Medley

Each “destination” flight will feature teas from that region or teas that fit the category. For example, the Fruit Bat Flight could include any three teas that have a predominantly fruity ingredient list. Ask your tea brewer to select the tea or tisanes from your flight of choice if you find yourself loving a well-planned itinerary, or even choose the Mystery Medley to be totally surprised by teas from any category! Of course, “passengers” are also welcome to choose their own three teas in each flight.

Please note that while some people book their flight 24 hours in advance, it is also certainly possible to order a flight anytime; we just ask for your patience as it may take a bit longer than a usual full pot of tea to prepare the presentation and brew time for your flight of choice. Tea Flights are usually $15 per person, *with the exception of the premium Matcha Destination Flight for $18 per person.
